The Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK held its 7th Moving to Portugal Show and Seminars in central London, at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel, on the 9th of May. The MTP roadshow then continued on to Dublin, with the Chamber 8th MTP event being held at the Alex Hotel, on the 15th of May.
Following our press and online media campaigns, 649 people registered to attend the London Show and 423 registered to attend the Dublin Show, with dozens of walk-ins on the day at both events.
The Moving to Portugal Shows & Seminars are designed to answer questions such as how to organize your move to Portugal, whether you intend to run your business from there, invest there, retire there or simply spend several months a year there to escape the English climate.
25+ of the Chamber’s Corporate members took part in the two shows, showcasing properties for sale throughout Portugal and other linked services and products.
Alongside the show, our Moving to Portugal seminar sessions covered topics like pension planning, currency exchange, mortgages, the non-habitual resident’s tax regime and the legal steps to buying a property.

To keep pace with the growing demand for our Moving to Portugal events, the next Shows and Seminars will be held in London and Manchester in late October 2019 and in Dublin in March 2020.
