Portugal’s Golden Visa – the country’s residency-by-investment program – is one of the most popular in the world, pumping an impressive €4 billion into the Portuguese economy so far, and providing non-EU individuals with an entryway into Europe, increased personal freedoms, and financial security.

However, from 1 January 2022, Portugal has introduced new changes to its Golden Visa Program, which will boost interest in interior areas of the country along with the islands.
