AFPOP – Portugal’s largest Foreign Residents’ Association
AFPOP is the Association of Foreign Property Owners in Portugal and since 1987 it has been providing information and support to its members, who either own property or live in Portugal. One of the major problems with moving to a new country is knowing who to ask when you need information. Not only does AFPOP assist its members in finding answers to their questions, but through its regular UPDATE magazine and “News from AFPOP” e-mails, the Association often provides information to its members about law changes and other issues before they even know they need to ask the question.
AFPOP is a non-profit association and since 2010 has been awarded the status of Utílidade Pública by the Portuguese government.
From its base in the Algarve, AFPOP staff respond to questions on any subject – bringing peace of mind for the price of a ‘café com leite’ each week. AFPOP – Here to Help!
