The Chamber  has been following closely the Brexit issues having for the last year and a half participated and promoted  events which have envisaged the reinforcement of ties between Portugal and the UK in a post exit of the UK from the EU, either with a Brexit Agreement or without one.

In relation to this issue the Portuguese  Government has published a paper on January 17, 2019 covering the “PREPARATION AND  CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR THE DEPARTURE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION” in the following of the EU Commission guidelines.
